OCHANOMIZU

Ocha-no-mizu literally means "tea water", after the nearby Kanda River from which water was extracted. Ochanomizu is famous for its many musical instrument stores, as well as ski and snowboard shops located a short walk from the station. It is known as the "go-to" district for bargain-conscious musicians and sportsmen. Ochanomizu Station on the JR Chuo Line is the transport hub of the district. Meiji University, Tokyo Medical and Dental University, and Juntendo University all have main campuses in the area.

KOMAGOME

After exiting the station if you go in the direction of the crosswalk you will see Ookuni Shrine. Many places in the town have small statues of the Jizo (deity of guarding children) and shrines. There are many shops dealing with Japanese-style accessories; there are also stores that will make new clothes from kimono fabric. Around Komagome Station the famous places are Rikugen, which is a park, and Kyufurukawatein Park, which is a garden park. It takes a couple of hours to walk around this grand scale park.

KORAKUEN

Korakuen is a large-scale amusement area located in the center of Tokyo, within easy access from many terminal stations, such as the Shinjuku and Tokyo stations. Korakuen encompasses a relatively small area packed with numerous attractions; Tokyo Dome, an amusement park, and a hot spring facility, LaQua. Koishikawa-Korakuen Garden, which adjoins Tokyo Dome, is a renowned garden designed to introduce Chinese tastes into the Japanese-style scenery. Promenades run throughout the area, and the cherry blossom season there is truly amazing.
